Your questions
What happens when a team cancels shortly before the tournament?
SportzFreundeOS refunds the entry fee automatically according to your cancellation rule and moves the waitlist up. You do not have to write refund emails or send manual bank transfers.
Do I need an extra tool to build the draw and standings?
No, pairings, match times and results are generated inside the system. As soon as a score is entered, the standings and public tournament page update right away.
Does this also work for smaller socials or king-of-the-court nights?
Yes, socials, pickup sessions, Kaiserrunde and open club nights use the exact same workflow. You run the same sign-up, customer list and checkout on a smaller scale.
Has the system already run a major live tournament?
Yes, at Gerolsteiner Creator × Profi with the DPV on 1 October 2026 in Frechen, the entire night ran on our system. At the league opener, it handled registration, 32 matches, live scores and six hours of live coverage. More matchdays are planned.
